Modern kitchen renovation with sophisticated hardware and marble countertops

Chique Kitchen Remake

I designed this modern kitchen to provide both the stage for a gourmet chef to host and entertain, or be a perfect quiet space for the first cup of morning coffee. The secret is in my careful selection of appliances, creative storage solutions, and the ergonomic use of the space. Every detail in this kitchen ranging from the sophisticated hardware and tile patterns to the design of the stained glass divider were carefully selected to express the character of the house.

Annex Victorian House

I restored a beautiful Victorian house in the Annex Yorkville neighbourhood. I provided a polished look to the whole house and helped preserve the charm of the neighbourhood. There are many elements of thoughtful design in this project: a dining area that looks out to the backyard of cherry trees, a gourmet kitchen with a long marble island, a cozy library and home office, and many more beautiful and functional vignettes throughout the house. I was able to create a comfortable flow in this narrow and prolonged old house that brought satisfaction for the owners and doubled its market value.

Basement Apartment Rebuild

This basement was overhauled and rebuilt to become an income generating source for the owner. The main house was an old house in downtown Toronto, so, once the project started there were a few surprises, one of which was poor underpinning of the entire house. Not only did I replace the old underpinning structure, but also added extra inches to the basement ceiling height. Moreover, I introduced creative design solutions to invite more natural light and instilled custom mood lighting for each space. I used light wood floor material on the wall separating bedroom and kitchen areas that helped visually enlarge the space. At the end I created a cozy and functional space that was immediately rented by a young professional. The basement apartment is never vacant anymore.

Exhilarating Bathhouse

My client was seeking to have a functional and pleasant bathhouse to meditate and relax after a long workday. To accommodate the desired room atmosphere, I chose tiles with classic chevron pattern, beautiful light ocean marble, sophisticated lighting fixture, and most importantly, comfortable yet elegant shaped bathtub. To introduce a touch of contemporary luxury, I rebuilt self-regulated heated floors, in-wall surround sound audio system, and custom curated art imagery.
